The Leadership Bubble

It's not immediately obvious that allowing people to fail is the best way to help them grow, but it's true.  We grew up managing through failure in school with teachers helping us when we failed and showing us the right way to improve.  Upon entering the business world, failure became the boogeyman to be avoided at all costs.  Yet there are significant costs in lost opportunities and lost growth.  The Leadership Bubble is a technique that grew out of Ed's experience as flight instructor and Navy Pilot.  It provides a way for leaders to allow failure inside a protective bubble to allows growth but prevents harm to the employee and the company.
