CHANGE & JOY
We came to know change work years ago when we discovered there was a way to make change happen in the workplace that was good for employees and good for the company. That was a revelation to us! When we began to deeply study change we found a lot of theory and a lot of tools, which was just too much to practically apply. We tested for more than 20 years in an expanded set of change problems until we finally distilled the essence of the thinking and the practices to a distinct method that’s based on our own philosophies about work -- work is good; it’s a place for creating something from nothing, a place to make a contribution to the world, a place for connecting with others. Our purpose is to help others create a joyful workplace. Our change method promotes that purpose.
We believe you can do the hard things that are necessary to run and grow a company and make change happen in a way that’s good for everyone. Who wouldn’t want to do that?
The Change Story
When you introduce a change to your company or your team people have a lot of questions. The Change Story is a way to help you get clear about the basic information people want to know. It's also useful when you're working with other leaders to make this change happen because it will help you stay aligned on what the messages are and help you learn what you questions you'll need to answer as the change progresses
