Ed Cook, PhDPresident & Joy at Work(er)Ed's uses his 20+ years of experience leading large teams and programs to guide leaders and bring their teams to a new level of performance. He recently completed his PhD in Systems Modeling and Analysis, applying game theory to multi-objective, multi-stakeholder decisions. His research aimed specifically on group decision-making and cracking the code on what some call irrational behavior. Ed focuses in on how that behavior can be harnessed to guide the team to a high level of performance. Read his article on The Leadership Bubble.
Ed is a former US Navy pilot and still flies today. He often relates those experiences, as well as his year deployed in Iraq, to business challenges all leaders face. |
Lauren DeSimoneClient Engagement Guru & Joy at Work(er)Lauren is an artist, critical thinker and lover of ideas. Most days you'll find her working at the intersection of organizational engagement and business development. She uses design thinking methods to comprehensively understand a company's culture, identifying its unique opportunities and obstacles to inform best practices for engaging stakeholders. Her work managing non-profit teams, scaling startups and mentoring entrepreneurs has spanned many sectors and thus provides her a multifaceted lens by which to evaluate the developmental needs of business owners and their communities. Lauren is a recent grad of Seth Godin's altMBA. Read her about her experience in Letting Go to Make a Ruckus.
For fun, Lauren races sailboats, asks a lot of questions, and is always on the lookout for new tchotchkes to add to her bag of tricks. If Lauren were a color, she'd be lapis blue. |
Kristan McGeheeClient Engagement Guru & Joy at Work(er)Kristan has a deep passion for all humankind. Whether in personal or professional life she is there for her people, her tribe. Early in her 18-year career, Kristan worked with large corporations in multi-media sales, pharmaceutical sales and project management. Most recently she's been a change leader, agile guru, and team engagement coach in retail and commercial banking.
Kristan's family made the decision for her very early "retirement." She spent some much needed time at home with her family -- a loving and supportive husband, two rambunctious kids and a sweet pup. When approached to come back to the workforce with The Change Decision, she knew this was an opportunity she could not turn down. Ed and Roxanne's love for their people and work is undeniable. That sparked something in Kristan...joy! She wanted to be part of something super special, and so, here she is. Kristan's claim to fame is losing a game to the formidable Anna Kournikova while attending the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. She is fearless. |
